Dean of Olin Business School Visits SUNTO Technology to Explore New Paths for Semiconductor Industry Innovation

Recently, Professor Mike Mazzeo, Dean of the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, led a delegation of faculty, students, and alumni from the Fudan University-Washington University EMBA Program to visit Shanghai SUNTO Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., for in-depth exchanges on key topics including semiconductor industry innovation and upgrading, technological localization, and talent development.

The visit took place at SUNTO Technology’s Shanghai headquarters. Mr. Wan Gan, General Manager of SUNTO Technology, and Ms. Selina Wang, Deputy General Manager (a participant of the Fudan University-Washington University EMBA Class of 23), warmly received the delegation together with the company’s core team. They held a special symposium with Dean Mike Mazzeo and the EMBA delegation, comprehensively showcasing the company’s technical capabilities, industrial layout, and innovation achievements.


During the symposium, General Manager Wan Gan presented SUNTO’s in-depth achievements in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sectors, highlighting the company’s independent R&D breakthroughs and localization experience in high-purity specialty gas and liquid delivery systems, as well as its core advantages in product iteration and digital transformation.

Dean Mike Mazzeo highly recognized SUNTO’s technical strength and industry contributions. He noted that as AI and the semiconductor industry integrate deeply, the demand for high-end composite talents continues to grow, making the combination of business education and industrial practice increasingly critical. He expressed his expectation for deeper university-enterprise cooperation to drive mutual empowerment between the industry and talent development.
